SSB INTERVIEW PROCESS
What is SSB ?
(SSB – Service Selection Board)
- An organisation established to conduct interview and selection process of eligible candidates for becoming officers in Indian Army, Navy & Air Force.
- One of the toughest and unique interview.
Day Zero (0)
- Report to MCO at railway Station
- Representative will receive you and direct you to the bus.
- Then document verification and allotment of chest number.
Day One (1)
- Screening Test (OIR + PPDT)
OIR – Officer Intelligence Rating Test
- 50 Questions of each verbal and non-verbal reasoning.
- 15 Minutes for each test.
PPDT – Picture Perception and Discussion Test
- Clear or hazy picture. (30 Second)
- Write theme / Action. (1 minute)
- Write a suitable story. (3 to 4 minutes)
PIQ(Personal Information Questionnaire)
Day Two (2)
- TAT (Thematic Apperception Test)
- WAT (Word Association Test) 15 Seconds for each word
- SRT (Situation Reaction Test) 30 Seconds for a situation reaction
- SD (Self description)
Day Third (3)
GROUP TESTING
- GD (Group Discussion)
- GPE (Group Planning Exercise)
- PGT (Progressive Group Task)
- GOR (Group Obstacle Race)
- (5) HGT (Half Group Task)
Day Four (4)
GROUP TESTING & INDIVIDUAL TESTING
- LECTURETTE
- INDIVIDUAL OBSTACLES
- COMMAND TASK
- FGT(Final Group Task)
Day Five (5)
