SSB INTERVIEW PROCESS

What is SSB ?

(SSB – Service Selection Board)

  • An organisation established to conduct interview and selection process of eligible candidates for becoming officers in Indian Army, Navy & Air Force.
  • One of the toughest and unique interview.
Procedure of SSB 5 Days Process
Day Zero (0)
  • Report to MCO at railway Station
  • Representative will receive you and direct you to the bus.
  • Then document verification and allotment of chest number.
Day One (1)
  • Screening Test (OIR + PPDT)

OIR – Officer Intelligence Rating Test

  • 50 Questions of each verbal and non-verbal reasoning.
  • 15 Minutes for each test.

PPDT – Picture Perception and Discussion Test

  • Clear or hazy picture. (30 Second)
  • Write theme / Action. (1 minute)
  • Write a suitable story. (3 to 4 minutes)

PIQ(Personal Information Questionnaire)

Day Two (2)
  • TAT (Thematic Apperception Test)
  • WAT (Word Association Test)
    15 Seconds for each word
  • SRT (Situation Reaction Test)
    30 Seconds for a situation reaction
  • SD (Self description)
Day Third (3)
GROUP TESTING
  • GD (Group Discussion)
  • GPE (Group Planning Exercise)
  • PGT (Progressive Group Task)
  • GOR (Group Obstacle Race)
  • (5) HGT (Half Group Task)
Day Four (4)
GROUP TESTING & INDIVIDUAL TESTING
  • LECTURETTE
  • INDIVIDUAL OBSTACLES
  • COMMAND TASK
  • FGT(Final Group Task)
Day Five (5)
  • CONFERENCE
